The 2023 LHA Party and Annual Meeting was held on Sunday, September 10th from 3pm-5pm at 238 Catalpa Drive.

There was a wonderful turnout of residents for our September 10th Annual Meeting held on a Catalpa cul-de-sac. A last-minute change of venue was required the night before when a nest of yellowjackets was found at our initial Catalpa location. However, with help from the directors and nearby neighbors, we were able to relocate without a hitch. We were entertained by the M-A Jazz Band and talks given by Mayor Bill Widmer, the police department, and members of ADAPT (Atherton Disaster and Preparedness Team). The refreshments and ice cream appeared to be very much appreciated on the rather warm day. Kids and adults alike were not deterred by the temperature from enjoying cornhole and chalk drawing activities. Overall, the meeting was a huge success, and we hope that future autumn meetings will be as well attended. Thanks to all our worker bees and attendees for making it a fun time for all.
